Minute!

The Two-Letter Word
by nahida Izzat

Did you know

That sometimes doing nothing is a Crime ??

Sometimes thinking nothing is a crime ??

Sometimes feeling nothing is a crime ??

Sometimes saying nothing is a crime ??

For … oppression thrives on silence

A dignified stand -then- can be ever so grand

A brave wise decision would be an inspired vision

A righteous feeling of sadness or anger

Can out-weigh joy delight and wonder

A two-letter word then can be stronger than a sword

When JUSTICE is slaughtered and oppression prevails

When evil is OK and Satan glorified

When GOD finds no room in His children’s hearts

We have to be prepared then... if only just to say

The two-letter word ! ! !

NO

Our Destination!

Happy New Year!

To understand and reach Allah. That is our destination!

The prophet pbuh said "I leave to you the Book of Allah and my Sunnah_ and you will never go astray as long as you stick to it"

إني تارك فيكم ما أن تمسكتم به لن تضلوا ، كتاب الله وسنتي

We should always struggle to improve ourselves until we become the best persons we can be. We should humble ourselves in our progress. Read the Quran more and reflect upon what we read more, we should help others, we should pay more in charity we have to get rid of our greed and selfishness. We have to love to others what we love to ourselves. And also we have to sacrifice for the sake of allah by spending from our wealth, our time, our efforts and if the need arises by our lives. We have to remember to repent everyday and if possible during and after every prayer.

The last two suras, or chapters, of the Qu'ran are very short. They have been traditionally used as prayers of protection.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn,
From the evil of that which He has created,
And from the evil of intense darkness when it comes,
And from the evil of those who cast evil suggestions in firm resolutions,
And from the evil of the envier when he envies.
—Quran 113:1-5

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men,
The King of men,
The God of men,
From the evil of the whisperings of the slinking devil,
Who whispers into the hearts of men,
From among the jinn and the men.

—Qur’an 114:1-6
